This Project-Based Learning Resource provides a catalyst for students to do an in-depth study of a country they are interested in. Students create a travel guide for the country that includes important information, historical events, landmarks, the local language, traditional food, notable people and their achievements, celebrations, animals, plants and much more.
Students are also required to focus on what we have learnt from this country, what we can learn from this country and the influences this country has had on Australia.
This integrated unit of work covers history, geography, literacy, art, PD, math, graphing, mapping, report writing, descriptive writing, expositions and much more.
 
This unit is easily adaptable for studentsin grades 1-8  (or even older).
