Take your children on an adventure around the world. This integrated, hands-on, unit explores each continent and several countries within each one. Your students will learn history, culture, geography, science and more as they explore God's amazing world. This unit will take around 6 months and students create a travel diary of all they learn as they 'travel'. It also has the bible integrated throughout.

Mapping, Investigating Environments, Biodiversity, Biomes, landmarks and landscapes from around the world, investigating different countries, world culture, earth science from around the world, world oceans, cartography, rivers, world fauna and flora and world weather.
 
Grammar/Spelling
Editing, Spelling, Phonics, Correct way to write different text types and descriptions. Reading different text types.
 
Science
Different world fauna and flora, world biomes, landscapes, infrastructure in different countries, weather of different countries, scientific inventions of different countries, cooking.

World historical events, explorers, historical artists, artifacts, ancient civilizations, historical art, historical cultures, history of cartography, famous cartographers, historical people, inventions.
 
This unit is suitable for up to Grade 8 as it is highly adaptable and open ended, it can also be done together as one family project, bringing you closer together.
